Summary

Vincent Chase makes his debut in Hollywood with a million dollar movie.  He takes his childhood friends along in riding the tide of fame.

Character Subplots

   Drama

An out of work actor, Drama is trying hard to make it big. 

   E

Vincent wants E to manage his career.  It is clear from the start that E is much more about maintaining Vincent’s status as a star than enjoying it.  E’s new position as Vincent’s manager runs into conflicts with Ari, Vincent’s agent who is a superstar in the industry.

   Turtle

Turtle is E’s counterpart.  He is out to enjoy his friend’s fame and take advantage of the new life Vincent’s fame has brought him.

   Vince

A carefree actor, he knows what matters to him the most—his friends.  Growing up in a poor neighborhood, Vince can now afford anything he desires, but decides to keep his friends close by.  Vince’s stardom is the source of each character’s story.

   Ari

A superstar Hollywood agent, Ari Gold has extensive industry knowledge and experience.  He clashes with E in working with his client Vincent Chase.  He is persistent in getting Vince to read Matterhorn.
